Richard was in Capt. Gilman's Co. in 1710. In 1712 he and his mother sold grants made to his father and to himself in 1698. He then moved to Turbot's Creek in Arundel by 1719. Abigail and two children were living in Arundel in 1721 when a warrant was issued for her arrest and Mary Duley's. The Scarborough constable reported that Abigail was not found. Richard Smith of Biddeford was her bondsman. Richard sold land with Thomas Harris of Exeter indicating a family connection. Perhaps Thomas and Abigail were siblings.
