Biography

Sarah Morgan was born on June 04, 1818, the second of four known children and the older of two daughters of Ebenezer and Mary Woodward Morgan.

On March 9, 1834 (or perhaps 1842), in Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana, (not a year after they first met) when she was in her teens, she married Sylvester Morgan at the Morgan House (which was then conducted by the late Ebenezer Morgan, father of Mrs. Morgan) in Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana]. She bore him eleven children.^[1] ncluding

In 1901, when she was in her earlier eighties, she died in 1901 in Clark County, Indiana, of unknown causes.
