Biography

Theophilus Morgan was born 12 Oct. 1759, a son of Timothy Morgan and Deborah Leeds of Groton, Connecticut.

He married 10 May, 1795 Mary Hinckley, daughter of Abel Hinckley of Stonington, They settled in north part of Lyme, Connecticut, set off from Salem in 1820.

Theophilus Morgan died 11 Sep 1820, age 61. His will is dated 3 March, 1819, and names wife, Mary, and 6 children then living.
