I found a father for Jonas Morgan = Gilbert Morgan Sr.

the source is a 1799 court case over a debt being cleaned up with Issac Hyatt for merchandise from the local store. The timing of the dept was 1774 when Jonas married Johanna Hardin, and was bedding and household items that appear to have been "wedding presents". The debt had been secured by Gilbert Morgan Sr. who appeared with Jonas as witness that the debt had been paid.

After this several cases in this neighborhood included a jury where Gilbert Sr., Gilbert Jr. and a Zachariah North and Jonas were all serving on the jury together. Later this Zachairah North was the father of Barbara North who married Jonas' son George.

Also Jonas and Susannah have four surviving children ELIZABETH RUDICELLIER, GEORGE MORGAN, DANIEL MORGAN, AND LANAEH WARD. On the census reports a fifth un-named and unsexed child is recorded, additionally 3 more children appear on the census all at the same time - they are Elizabeth Morgan and Jacob Rudicellier children. There is no hint of what happened to these grandchildren's parents.
