Biography

Annie was born on 16 February 1837 at 7 Broad Street Buildings, Bishopsgate, City of London. She was the daughter of John Morgan and Anne (Gosse) Morgan.[1]

In the 1851 census Annie (age 14) was living in Lordship Lane, Tottenham, Middlesex, England. Relation to Head of House Anne Morgan (40) a widow: Daughter (14), with 3 sisters and 2 domestic servants.[1]

In the 1861 census Annie (age 24) was living at 7 Paragon, Clifton, Gloucestershire, England. Relation to Head of House, Ann Morgan (50) landed proprietor and fund holder: Daughter (24) with 3 siblings and 2 domestic servants.[2]

When Annie was 28 she married Alexander Waugh on 27 April 1865 in St John, Hackney, England. Groom a bachelor and surgeon residing at Midsomer Norton, Somerset, with father James Hay Waugh a Clerk in Orders. Bride a spinster residing at Stamford Hill, with father John Morgan a surgeon.[3]

In the 1901 census Annie (age 64) was living in Silver Street, Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England. Relation to Head of House, Alexander (60) a physician surgeon: Wife (62) with daughters Constance (30), Beatrice (28), Elspeth (26), and grandson Eric (1). Also 3 domestic servants.[4]

Annie died at the age of 71 on 12 March 1908 in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England. A widow of Midsomer Norton.[5]

Annie was buried on 16 March 1908 in St John the Baptist Churchyard, Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England.[6]

Probate was granted on 1 June 1908 in London, Middlesex, England. Effects: 3,547 Pounds Sterling 5s 0d to Arthur Waugh Esq.
