Ken Morgan
A former co-worker gave me copies of a letter and marriage license/ bond for a Charles Morgan from around this time period [1785?] . It mentions the governor being Thomas Jefferson of the Common Wealth of Virginia. She said her uncle got them from the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. The letter was from G. Washington! The contents of the letter are very interesting.
