In 1784 Samuel and Oliver Pennock with their families went to Canada (from Vermont) and settled in Augusta, county of Grenville. the children of Samuel were: Isaac (who remained in the US), Philemon and Alvah. Both Philemon and Alvah drew lands as U.E. Loyalists. Philemon married Hamutel Morey, a sister of Samuel Morey, who went from Vermont to Canada, and raised the following family: Champman, Elizabeth, William, Mary, Samuel, Philemon, John and George."
