Winifred Margaret Moore was born in 1867 in Partick, Lanarkshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. She was the daughter of unknown Moore and unknown MacGregor. [1]
Robert married fellow Scot Robert Gibson on 22nd March 1890 in Croydon, Surrey, England. [2] The couple set sail for Victoria (Australia) the same day, following Robert's two older brothers. Making their home initially in Essendo, and then Brighton and Carlton, they raised their family of seven children.
When Robert was knighted in 1920, Winifred became entitled as Lady Gibson.
She passed away after 1934.
