James was born in 1948. He passed away in 1967. James was the husband of Lisa Moore, the son of John A. Moore and Leota Moore who predeceased him, and the step-son of Kathryn Moore all of Albuquerque NM.

Military

Vietnam War US Marine Corps PFC, Company D, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st MARDIV (Rein) FMF.

He enlisted in the US Marine Corps on July 5 1966 in Albuquerque NM. While under the OPCON (Operational Control) of the 3d Battalion on August 19 a squad was on Patrol in the vicinity of the Chau Son (2) hamlet near Hill 55 in the Dien Ban District of Quang Nam Province when they were hit several times with volley of sniper fire wounding a Marine. Wounded by the enemy fire, PFC Moore was evacuated to Da Nang and later transferred to the USAF Hospital at Tachikawa Air Base in Japan were he died due to complications as a result of his wound.
