Stefani Joyce Baugus was born on June 29, 1974 in Hayward, California to Joyce and Samuel Moon[1] She spent her younger days living in the East Bay and Livermore. Her family later resettled in Manteca, CA where she would graduate from East Union High School and then attend Modesto Junior College. Stefani was married in January 1998 and became a mother a short time afterward. Stefani always enjoyed her time with family, whether it was a simple meal at home or a large holiday gathering. Being a Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter and Aunty is truly what brought her the most joy.
Stefani enjoyed crafts of all types, photography and had a passion for painting. It didn’t matter if it was on paper, canvas, her fingernails or the entire house she really enjoyed it. She also volunteered and assisted for many years with the Relay For Life program in Manteca and Escalon. Stefani was a friend to many, and she always enjoyed their company, from conversations to messages, over good food and sometimes a cocktail, and to even people she’d never met in person. Stefani always enjoyed jokes and pranks. She touched so many people over the years and many will remember her happy smile and incredible laughter.
Stefani was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 23 years James, her son Darryl, her siblings Jaynee Jones and Grant Moon and her five nieces and nephews.
At this time there will be no funeral or memorial services. A celebration of life gathering will be arranged at a later date.
