Biography

Marguerite was born in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Montreal, Quebec on 11 June 1772, daughter of Louis Monet dit Boismenu and Marie Marguerite Henri.[1]

She married Joseph Dubreuil on 21 January 1793 at St-Vincent-de-Paul. [2]Together, they had the following (known) children:

  1. Marguerite, n. 1 Oct 1793
  2. Marie Anne, n. 18 Nov 1794, d. 17 Dec 1794, (Died Young)
  3. Victoire, n. 18 Nov 1795
  4. Joseph, n. 9 Nov 1796, d. 12 Aug 1797, (Died Young)
  5. Esther, n. 13 Dec 1797, d. 1822, (unmarried)

She passed away shortly after the birth of her last child, on 20 December 1797 in Laval. Her funeral was held at St-Vincent-de-Paul two days later. [3]
