Hello, Fred!

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s VERY IMPORTANT to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

I connect through my father charles, my grandfather Clyde eldridge moessworth, his father Francis Browning molesworth his father Alfred molesworth and then I think Eli molesworth although as we get a little further back I'm not quite as confident of all the connections, and then I believe to samuelsworth although at that point I haven't been able to connect to England as of yet. I have a fairly extensive Tree on ancestry.com and there's a link in my profile here feel free to take a look at that and see if there's anything that looks familiar

Hey Charles. Great to see another Molesworth in the tree. Hopefully you are able to connect your Molesworth line to the existing tree, as we have managed to connect about half of them. I think we've struggled a little more with the American connections, so I'm looking forward to seeing if you know where you connect in. If you need any help, feel free to contact me, or look at where I connect in with the Molesworths. Ben.

I have from most of the Molesworth history in America from the journal of the genealogical society of Fredrick County Maryland. I can send it to you if you'd like

That sounds great Fred. Thank you. I did have a little look around trying to connect Charles into the common Molesworth tree which connects with the Viscount and Molesworth's Pencarrow, but struggled to make the connection. It would be great to get them all back together.

We will keep working on it. I've been to Pencarrow and had tea in the kitchen with Lady Molesworth-St Aubyn
