In the 1871 census Margaret (age 2), Farmer's Daur, was the daughter of George Moir in House Of Thornton, Bourtie, Aberdeenshire.[2]
In the 1881 census Margaret (age 12), Scholar, was the daughter of George Moir in Mains Of Thornton, Bourtie, Aberdeenshire.[3]
In the 1891 census Maggie (age 22), Linen Weaver, was the daughter of Ann Moir at 42 Kings Cresc, Aberdeen, Aberdeen St Nicholas, Aberdeenshire.[4]
In the 1901 census Margaret (age 32), Liner Weaver, was the daughter of Ann H Moir at 404 King Street, Aberdeen Old Machar, Aberdeenshire.[5]
Margaret's marriage to Robert Archibal Lawson was registered in 1901 in the St Machar district.[6]
