Biography

• Elizabeth Mohr Spittler (1829 - 1908).
• Elizabeth married John George Spittler in 1849. The couple traveled west to MN for a time, but returned to Rock Spring, NY where they purchased a farm and spent the rest of their lives.
• Elizabeth and John had the following children:

Peter (1853-1939); Mary (1856-1944); Jacob (1857-1922); August J (1860-1946); Louis (1863-1933); Anna Salome (1864-1961); Lana (1867-1956); Kathryn (1869-1956); Caroline L (1872-1961); Frederick Ralph (1874-1963)

• Both John and Elizabeth are buried in Ashford, NY.
