Harold Earnest Mixson was born on 20 June 20 1922 in Skipperville, Dale County, Alabama, United States.[1][2] His parents were Ralph E. Mixson (1897 - 1987) and Foy (Whigham) Mixson (1897 - 1976).[3]
He was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1930 and 1940 United States Censuses.[4][5]
Harold E. Mixson was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He enlisted on 13 October 1942. He was engaged in the Battle of the Bulge.

He was married and was the father of at least two children. These individuals may still be living so are not mentioned here.[2]
He was of the Methodist faith and an active member of the Skipperville United Methodist Church. He retired from Civil Service at Fort Rucker after having worked there for 24 years.[2]
Harold Earnest Mixson passed away in Dothan, Houston County, Alabama on 31 October 2000 at the age of 78. He was buried in Skipperville Community Cemetery, Skipperville, Dale County, Alabama.[2][7]
