Biography

Per the Sydney Morning Herald[1]:

DIED,
At sea, on Thursday, the 28th ultimo, by falling overboard from the schooner Beaver, during a heavy gale, while on his passage from Moreton Bay to Sydney, Roderick Mitchell, Esq., J.P., second son of Lieutenant-Colonel Sir T. L. Mitchell, Surveyor-General.
