This profile has a database error (DBE#774) in the way that the last name at birth has been formatted.
Could you please either correct the name or add me to the trusted list and I'll fix it.
Thank you
Apologies, I missed the first email. Blame covid, just been off for 3 weeks. Now added and profile made public so further edits can be made if needed.
Thanks
Ruth
I have been looking for this Jane for many years who married Thomas Pound in Withiel no trace of either of them Then I found out that William Pound who died in Withiel 1802 mentioned in his will that he acknowledged his natural born son Thomas Tonkin and left him £100 (£8000) in today's money all his offsprings were baptized Tonkin and that was the problem once that was sorted it didn't take long to discover that he married Jane Ellery in Withiel

Thanks for joining us! Im David, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.
Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree?
I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer about using WikiTree?
Thank you for signing the Honor Code and uploading your GEDCOM!

Since Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential.
The England Project seems to fit your ancestors. Leaders are Susie MacLeod and Wendy Sullivan. Click the link to read how to join.
Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list, located at the top of your page, 4th topic on right, under <Find> and <Projects>.
For questions, just ask on my page.

PS If "Page Not Found" error occurs in your email, check your page for this message.
You've been a member for about a week so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions? Most of us have questions after all that information!
I want to help! Click my name, send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger
PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
