Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified. It's time to pick a project that fits the pre-1700 profiles you'll be working on.

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Do you have some historically significant ancestors? Explore the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs.

Once you find a project that interests you, visit the project page for more information and to find out how to join. You can also use the Following link to add the project tag to your profile, and you'll be kept up to date on any activity.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, which means that members work together as a single collaborative team. The Honor Code is our guide to keep everything functioning smoothly as we work on one BIG tree.

The initial email from us has links to get you started. Your tags will help you keep up with new information on surnames, locations, concepts, etc., and help you find other WikiTreers with the same interests.

I'll confirm your membership in a few minutes, and then you'll be able to add family info!

It keeps auto correcting me & I don't like it. If I can't get it to accept data about self how will I enter my tree stuff. I came to look because my heritage wants money. I have extensive info & would like to save it digitally.
