Biography

Aaron was born on 19 Mar 1919 in Whittier, California to Lloyd O. and Rhoda B. (Rumble) Miller.^[1][2] He had two younger brothers: Hubert and Harold.^[3][4] He married Rachel Louise Teach in Los Angeles on January 1, 1943.^[5] They moved to Modesto and had a large family. Aaron passed away on March 14, 2007. He was 87 years old.^[6]

AARON BENTON MILLER MAR. 20, 1919 - MAR. 14, 2007 A native of Whittier, CA, moved to rural Modesto in 1947 and resided in the same house. He was a farmer of almonds.

His love of the ocean and mountains leaves many happy memories for his family and friends.

His first love was his Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. He served as a minister for 50 years for the German Baptist Brethren Church of Modesto. He is survived by his wife, Rachel L. Miller of Modesto; seven children, Dorothy Louise (David) Sullivan of Peru, Indiana, Virginia Rachel (Gene) Skiles of Modesto, Evelyn Irene (Richard) Skiles of Bringhurst, Indiana, Betty Eileen (John) Layman, Mary Alice (Allen) Long, Aaron Lloyd (Carol Anne) Miller, David Benton (Carol) Miller, all of Modesto; brothers, Hubert E. (Mildred) Miller of Modesto, Harold O. (Marjorie) Miller of Hughson; step-sisters, Mary Jane Jarboe and Clara (Ivan) Meador, both of Modesto; 23 grandchildren and 31 great grand children.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, one brother, one grandson, and two great-grandchildren.
