Biography

Bud Miller was born in 1860. He is the son of Flammon Miller and Nancy Ellen Cane. He died February 25, 1941. Bud Miller and Gertie Sweem married in 1897. Bud and Gertie are listed in the 1900 United States Census in Oklahoma but they are listed in Indian Territory. Bud and Gertie are listed with their daughter Bessie Miller and Gertie’s young sister Maud Sweem. The next Census in 1910 Bud and Gertie are listed in Ottawa still but the city is listed as being in Oklahoma. The couple have 5 Children and Bud’s mother Nancy Miller along with 3 young teenagers named Trigg. Bud and Gertie move to Canada for a short time and are listed in the Canadian Census in 1921 in Vernon, British Columbia. Bud and Gertie Miller move back to the States before the 1930 Census.
