Biography

Martin was born in 1854. He was the son of Henry Miller and Christianna Watson. He passed away in 1912. Six children ID'ed by Family Search.

Martin Miller (M 25 y.o.) and Alice Wareham (F 18 y.o.) were married 24 Apr 1879 in Oregon, Ogle, Illinois. Martin was a farmer, the son of Henry H. Miller and Chistana Watson, born in Pattervill(?), Bradford PA; Alice was the dau of Daniel Warham and Amanda Krok, born in Brookville, Ogle IL; it was the first marriage for both.

Martin Miller (male 25 y.o.) was recorded in the 1880 U.S. Census, residing in Rock Creek Township, Carroll, Illinois, with wife Alac Miller (F 19) and son Asa Miller (M 5 mo). Martin was born in Pennsylvania, and the other two in Illinois; he was a farmer.

Martin W Miller (male 45 y.o., b. Oct 1854 PA) was recorded in the 1900 U.S. Census, residing in Liberty Township, Richardson, Nebraska, with wife Alice Miller (F 39, b. Mar 1861 IL), son Harry Miller (M 14, b. Feb 1886 IL), son Ralph Miller (M 12, b. Mar 1888 IL), dau Francis Miller (F 7, b. Oct 1892 NE) and son Earl Miller (M 1, b. Dec 1898 NE). Martin and Alice had been married 21 years; he was a farmer; she had 7 children 6 still living.
