Biography
George was born in 1859 in Ballinrees, County Londonderry, Ireland.
George emigrated to The Colony of Brisbane in 1877 on the ship the Newcastle.[1]
In 1888 he married Sarah Jane Anderson in Queensland.[2] Their children included:
- Margaret, born 1889
- Agnes, born 1891
- William, born 1892
- George, born 1895
- Robert, born 1896
- Frederick, born 1900, died 1901
Sadly, his wife Sarah passed away in 1901 as well.[3][4]
George remarried, marrying Mary Lucy Gill nee Smith in 1909.[5]
He passed away aged 90 in 1951 in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.[6][7]
