Thank you Susan for combining Emily Beatrice's information. I was trying to do that and it was not working so closed out thinking I would get back to it. I really appreciate your help. I have been entering a lot of information that I got from family a few years ago when my cousin and I decided to have a Messenger gather from James and Harriet's (Parry) children on down. I know sometimes I had double information and sometimes things did not show up on the information page as I wanted it to. Anyway still more to come. I am a bit stumped on an aunt Polly, that I think moved to New Zealand. I did the DNA test with My Heritage and have answers from there so hoping I can find more info.
Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. :) Here is a link that will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree: Getting the Best from DNA

Hi Susan, I have just started researching my husband's family tree. In the early 1800s Jane Messenger married Stephen Wall in Siddington (near Cirencester) and they moved to South Wales. My proudly Welsh in laws were surprised to find that they originate from England.
PS. Thanks for your research, it has helped me enormously.
I did a little research on the Pontypool Messengers, drop me an email if that is of any interest ( I have not put them on Wiki, cos they are not my line and I am not 100% :) Sue.
The family line is Wall but I came up against a brick wall (sorry for the pun) as Stephen's grandmother was an unmarried mother and there is no mention of her or any other person with the wall surname prior to the baptism of her son John Chesterman Wall. I decided to follow the Messenger line which has proved useful.
If you are interested I'm happy to share what I have.
