Biography

Cathy wrote a lovely essay on Gretchen Wiss Sinon and a trip to austria that was published in a Sullivan (?) county newsletter in the 1980s or 1990s or 2000s.

Cathy married her first husband in Wyoming. When they went to the registery to get a marriage liscence Tony was only 17 and could not get married. The lady at the registery told them to go to the next county and age a little. So they went to the next county and he was 18 and got a marriage liscence. They were married a few years then she divorced Toni (he was very young) and she married Mark Abel, a Vietnam Vet, several years older than she was. Travis Albright took Mark's last name. Cathy had a girl Emmy Lou Melinda named after Emmy Lou the singer, and her brother's wife Melinda.

In 2021 Kathy's last name was Lord, so she must have married Scot Lord, who she knew when they both were in Goshen. She moved to Florida with Scot.

Travis was adopted by Kathy's second husband, Mark Abel, with whom She had a daughter, Emilou Melinda Abel Born Dec 16, 1983. Cathy married Scott Lord and was living in Spring Hill, Fl in 2023 when Scott died.
