Biography
Marie Mercier; Baptized Marie Josephe, [1] She had a younger sister of the same name, who also lived to marry, with Jean Baptiste Lemieux in 1801. She only used Marie. Daughter of Augustin Mercier and Marie Geneviève Paré. She passed away in 1849. [2]She is said to be 83 on her funeral record.[3]
