Biography
Marie Madeleine Mercier was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Mercier and Marguerite Marcoux. She was born on 14 Jul 1764 in Saint-Charles, Province de Québec, and baptized the following day as Marie Magdelene Mercier at Saint-Charles, daughter of Jean Mercier and Marguerite Marcou.[1]
Marie Madeleine and Laurent Archambault were married on 17 Oct 1788 at the church of L'Assomption in L'Assomption, Province de Québec. She was identified as "Marie Mercier"; daughter of Jean Mercier and Marguerette Marcous in their marriage record. Laurent was the son of Amable Archambault and Marie Harnois (deceased). All were communicants of L'Assomption. [2]
