James immigrated to the U.S. arriving 7 May 1859 in New York.
James married Mary Frances Buchard (1845-1899) on 23 Jan 1864 at Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts.[1] Their children were:
James became a naturalized US citizen on 14 Sep 1875 in Boston.[3][4] These two naturalization records give two different birthdates Jan 1843 and 20 Jul 1841.
James passed away in 1896 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
