Biography
Osithe was baptized on July 3, 1840, as recorded in the Memramcook church register. She is the daughter of Sauveur Melanson and Marguerite LeBlanc. Godparents were Simon LeBlanc and Henriette Sonier.
Osite married Thomas Despres on 12 Jan 1863 in Cocagne.[1][2] Their parents were not named in the marriage record. Witnesses were Damien Melanson and Olive Despres.
She died on 10 Apr 1928 in Cocagne.[3]
