Beulah Meador Cooke Rites Held June 29 at Cartersville (Farmville Herald) Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Meador Cooke, wife of Arthur H. Cooke, of Cartersville, who died June 27 in a Richmond hospital, were held Thursday, June 29, at 4 p. m. from Cartersville Baptist Church. Dr. Garis T. Long, pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Richmond, officiated, assisted by Rev Larry Evans, of the Methodist Charge at Cartersville. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother. Mrs. Mildred Meador, three daughters, Miss Mable Cooke, Cartersville. Mrs. C. F. Muse, Charlottesville, and Mrs. T. L. Powers, Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. O. W. Southworth, and Mrs. O. H. Baughan, both of Richmond; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews.'' Mrs. Cooke was born at Cumberland, June 7, I899. the daughter of the late John Lewis Meador and Mildred Estelle Dawson. She was married August 12, 1919 to Arthur Harrison Cooke, and lived all her life In Cumberland County, where she was widely known. She was active in religious and community affairs. Active pall bearers were nephews of the family: Alvin Southworth. Druey Baughan, Eugene Burns. Harris Cooke. T. D. Cooke, Joseph Cooke, H. E. Cooke and E. J. Cooke, Jr'.'

She is buried at Thomas Chapel
