Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. It normally takes 24 hours from adding a test, or adding a new ancestor, or ancestor’s descendant, for WikiTree to display your name and test results on your ancestors and their descendants’ profiles for potential cousins to compare results with.
Have fun!

My 3rd great grand-mother Mary McSpadden was born at Banbridge, County Down, Ireland in abt 1795 and died at Loughbrickland, County Down, Ireland on 18 Aug 1875. She married my 3rd great grand-father Jonathan Barclay at Loughbrickland in 1824. Do you have any connections to these Irish McSpaddens? Thanks and kind regards, Denis Barclay
Thanks, Sandy Dighton

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
