Biography

Hugh Charles McQueen, was born on 27 September 1927 in Egremont Township, Grey County, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of Donald McQueen and Cora Gillies.

Hugh married Alice "Irene" Wollis in 1952.[1]

In 1954, Hugh and Irene took pocession of the farm located on the south 1/2 of Lot 6, Concession 6 in Arthur Township, Wellington County, Ontario.[1]

In 1962, Hugh added a piece onto his barn.

In 1962, Hugh signed his name on the barn wall.

In 1976 they purchased a house in Mount Forest and moved to town, and rented out the farm[1] until it was sold in 1987.

Hugh had a mail rural route out of Mount Forest.[1]

Hugh passed away in 1994. He is buried in Mount Forest Cemetery, Grey County.[2][3]
