In the 1880 census Macon (age 20), Laborer, was the married head of household in Precinct 1, Hays, Texas, United States. He was living with wife Matilda and 5 stepchildren.[2]
In the 1900 census, Macon (age 38), Stock Herder, was the married head of household in Justice Precinct 5, Comal, Texas.[3]
He married Willie Wade on November 25, 1908 in Caldwell County, Texas, USA.[4] They divorced in 1929.[5]
