Biography

Hugh McNeal was involved in the westward expansion of the USA. See Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Hugh McNeal was from Pennsylvania. He may or may not have been in the Army prior to joining the Corps on April 1, 1804. A man with the same name was on the Army rolls as late as 1811.[1]
