Biography

Peter McGrath migrated from Ireland to United States.

Peter was born in 1873, in Leitrim Townland, County Longford.^[1] He is the son of Edward McGrath and Ann McKeon.^[2]
On 8 August 1888, Peter and Edwin [Edward] McGrath arrived in Boston, Massachusetts aboard the S.S. Iowa.^[3]The 1910 United States Census recorded that he migrated to the United States in 1888.^[4] His Naturalization Papers also indicated that he immigrated in August 1888.^[5]
He married Ellen Neal on 6 August 1899.^[6]
