Biography

When Lawson Hood McGinnis was born in 1802, in Cherryville, Gaston, North Carolina, United States, his father, John McGinnis, was 29 and his mother, Mary W. Barnhill, was 32. He married Barbara Carpenter on 23 April 1825, in Lincoln, North Carolina, United States. He lived in Calhoun, Alabama, United States in 1866 and Alabama, United States in 1870. He died on 16 February 1890, in Jacksonville, Calhoun, Alabama, United States, at the age of 88.[1]
