Shannon Patricia Larsen Inch March 14, 1935 – June 9, 2014   Shannon, loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife passed away June 9th surrounded by family and friends. She was 79. Born in Portland, OR to Virgil & Beulah Ellen (Tiny) McGee and raised in Boise, ID. She attended Stephens College in Missouri her freshman year, then transferred to University of Oregon and made Eugene her forever home.  She married Theodore Larsen in 1955 and raised four children. She later married Robert Inch and was happily married until his death in 1994. Shannon was a wonderful mother who loved to sew, cook, garden and read. She danced with great joy and entertained with flair. She loved her family and her friends and had a strong faith in the Lord. She grabbed the hearts of many with her optimistic, open-mined and transparent personality. Shannon was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Larsen and is survived by her sons, Theodore & Scott Larsen, daughter, Melinda (Mindy) Bush, sister Molly Matthews, brother, Michael McGee, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a close-knit group of friends, all personally touched by her loving nature. She will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Shannon’s memory to The Susi Larsen Memorial Scholarship Fund in Care of Maude Kerns Art center. Arrangements entrusted to Poole-Larsen Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th at 1:00 pm at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Eugene, Oregon.
