Biography

Nancy McFeely was born on 10 Jun 1903 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Fred Brooks McFeely and Nancy Morgan (Kennedy) McFeely.

At the age of twenty-two, on 16 Sep 1925, Nancy married James H Rogers in Cambridge Springs, Erie County, Pennsylvania. Neither had been married before. James was a production manager, 25 years old, and had been born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania; his address was 210 Fairmont, Latrobe. His parents were given as James N. Rogers (master mechanic) and Maude (Nicewonger) Rogers, both resident in Latrobe. His father had been born in Lewistown Pa, and his mother in Greensburg Pa. Nancy was not in paid employment. Her father's occupation was given as manufacturer. Her father had been born in Steubenvilla O, and her mother in Pittsburgh.

Nancy and James had one biological son, Fred, born on 20 Mar 1928 in Latrobe, and an adopted daughter, Nancy Elaine, who was born 21 Feb 1939 in Pittsburgh, and was living with the Rogers family as a foster daughter by the time of the 1940 census.

James died on 6 May 1970 in Pennsylvania.

Nancy died on 11 Nov 1981. She was buried^[1] in the Family Mausoleum, Unity Cemetery, Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
