Margaret Hamilton McCrea was born on the 24th Sep 1853, the third daughter (and child) of James and Elizabeth Jennings McCrea née Taylor. [1]
Christening
Margaret was Christened on the 30th November 1853 in the Parish of St Andrew Scots Church, Sydney, New South Wales.[2]
Death
Margaret Hamilton McCrea passed away on the 7th December 1853, aged 11 weeks. (The NSW BDM has her death registered as Mc Crae, rather than McCrea.)[3]
Burial
Margaret was buried in the Presbyterian section of the Devonshire Street Cemetery, New South Wales, on or after the 7th December 1853. The cemetery records appear to show her birth as being on the 21st September 1853,[4] but the church registry for Christening clearly states the 24th. [5]
