Biography
"My grandmother loved flowers. She had sweet peas growing along the backyard wire fence. She would let me go out in the morning and pick sweet peas for lunch. She always said, 'They need to be picked so they will bloom more.'" (pg. 27 - Elaine Wagener story)
"Jennie Mae was Ramon's grandmother. She lived in a house at the south edge of Douglas until she died... Jennie Mae (AKA Mama K) wasn't too interested in a lot of the family."
