Samuel McAllister was born on 20 Aug 1860 in Sackville, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada.
Samuel married Celia King (born in Rockport, Westmorland on 14 Dec 1864; died in Sackville on 2 Sep 1918), daughter of Benona Benjamin King and Cynthia Chase, on 20 Jul 1892 in Sackville. Their children were:
- Jessie King McAllister (1894 - )
- Mary Luta (McAllister) Anderson (1897 - )
- Charles Raymond McAllister (1900 - 1960).
Samuel married Annie Laura Fitzpatrick (born in Port Elgin, Westmorland on 13 Aug 1880; died in Sackville on 16 Jan 1941) on 20 Dec 1922 in Sackville.
Samuel married Jessie Ellen Graham (born in Earltown, Colchester, Nova Scotia, Canada on 8 May 1884; died in Pictou, Pictou on 28 Dec 1963) on 8 Dec 1945 in Scotsburn, Pictou.
Samuel died on 16 Jul 1947 in Pictou aged 86. He is buried in Sackville Rural Cemetery, Sackville.
