Mary Magdeline Maxey was born circa 1769 in Buckingham Co., Virginia. She married Joseph Ford, son of James Ford Jr. and Sally Burit, circa 1788 in Buckingham Co., Virginia.2 Mary died before 1850 in Knox Co., Tennessee. She was interred in Woodlawn Cemetery in Knox Co., Tennessee. Originally buried in the old burying ground on the Joseph Ford farm and later moved along with the body of her husband to Woodlawn Cemetery.[1]
