Biography
Garrett Maupin is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.
Garrett Maupin was born 21 Sep 1821 in Clay County, Kentucky. He married Martha Ann Poindexter in 1845, and the family went to Oregon in 1850. Their two oldest girls were born in Missouri, but the rest of their children were born near where Eugene Oregon is today.
