Malcolm was born in 1869. He was the son of William Mauk. He passed away in 1940.

Malcolm Clark Mauk was the son of William Mauk and Sarah Jane Miller.

He married Jennie Kathryn Stormer on 23 Jan 1891 in Salamanca, Cattarraugus Co., NY.

Malcolm died at his home in Oliver Twp., Jefferson Co., PA and was buried 7 Aug 1940.

Malcom C. Mauk Died Sunday

Lifelong Resident of near Worthville Succumbed After Long Illness, aged 69

Malcolm Clark Mauk, a life-long resident of the Worthville area, died in his home Sunday morning at 6:10, after an illness of two years. He was 69 years of age.

The deceased was born August 14, 1870, a son of William and Sarah (Miller) Mauk. He was united in marriage in Salamanca, N.Y. January 23, 1891 to Miss. Jennie Stormer, also a Worthvilie resident, who survives him. Mr. Mauk was a farmer throughout his entire life and is well-known in this vicinity.

He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Orpha Himes, of Ringgoid; Mrs. Chlorice Hawthorne, of Sligo: Mrs. Verna Gahagan, of Sprankie Mills, and Mabel and Harry, at home. The brothers and sisters who survive the deceased are: Jacob L. Mauk of Sprankie Mills; Mrs. Blanche Gourley, of Punxsutawney; Mrs. Alice Stahlman, of Williamsport: and Mrs. Nettie Stahlman, of Ambridge.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock p.m., in the late home, and interment will follow in the Worthville cemetery.

He married Jennie Kathryn Stormer on 23 Jan 1891 in Salamanca, Cattarraugus Co., NY.
