Knut Jensen Maude was born about 1727 in Hjørundfjord. He was the son of Jens Olsen and Marte Pedersdatter.

Knut married Anne Andersdatter Aarset on 17 Jan 1751 in Hjørundfjord.[1]

In the 1762 extra tax lists, Knut was listed at Aarsæt in Hjørundfjord with his wife Anne.[2]

Knud was buried on 2 Mar 1778 in Hjørundfjord.[3] The age given on his burial record was 51 years.

Knut's probate dated 8 Jul 1778, Årset in Hjørundfjord, names his widow, Anne Andersdatter, and 7 children:[4]
