Hi,

On behalf of the Germany Project, I am currently undergoing our member check-in's and wanted to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the full list. I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google groups for project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup, please submit a join request and we will get that approved as quickly as possible. We also ask that you check your follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions please ask. I would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project!

Please respond by private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Kylie!

Thank you for the checkup on me! I'm sad to say - though I in theory would like to contribute to the Germany Project and am sure it would have many contributions to my tree - at the moment I'm professionally not in a situation where I have much time and I must say that I'm not sure if I actually ever did contribute to the project in any other way than working on my managed profiles. So I think, if you would like to remove me from the project, that's fair, though I leave with a crying eye I guess there's in reality not much of a point in remaining in the project, at this time of my life at least...

Thank you for your hard work! All the best to you and the project!

Glad you Volunteered!

You are now a member of WikiTree! Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, which means only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced- if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

To help you get started, view this introductory WikiTree video.

For a list of Member benefits, see Community Members page.

We also have Mentors who will be glad to answer questions.

I'm a busy medschool student with an interest in my familys history, an interest I share with my father. I strongly support the idea of a free and open world-family-tree since it helps to realize - whatever our differences as humans - our very common roots and interconnectedness. On some level we're all family - a realization that might help elevate spirits in situations where collaboration is needed. That being said, of course I wish to contribute some of what little spare time I' having at the moment, in exchange for finding out more about - in essence - myself, my origins.

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step instruction of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The Help Pages give lots of information about the process starting with: 'Before you import a GEDCOM'

Find instructions here for reviewing your GEDMatch Report if you want to import it into WikiTree.

Stefan,

Welcome as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile for every person.

A couple suggestions to get you started:

1. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum .

2. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information.

If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should include a little bit about how you plan to contribute to the tree.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)
