Thank you for the merge on Roger Williams Williams-934.  ??? Are you following the line https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Williams-19675 - the birth dates have been edited and the profile notes Daniel born 1628 not 1641. And Daniel's wife's name are been creatively changed...

No, I am not. Our Mason side came to America with Sampson Mason, a former member of Cornwall's Dragoons. Lived in Dorchester, Mass and then settled in Rehoboth/Swansea, Mass.

Hi,

It’s Germany Project check-in time again! Please respond within the next 2 weeks and let me know if you’re still interested in participating with the Project. Remember, the only requirements for membership in the Germany Project are (1) that you work on at least one German profile every 6 months and (2) that you respond to this check-in.

Since you’re not working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams yet, please look at our main Project page for a full list and let me know which team you’d like to join.

Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. In your response, we welcome any feedback you may want to give on the project (what you like about it, what you’d like to see us do, what we could change, etc.)

If you ever have any questions, please ask. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi David, Please add the G2G tag GERMANY to your list of followed tags. You can add new tags by going to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following and scrolling down to "Add new Tags". Add Germany in the tag name box, add a couple spaces in the comments box, then hit "Enter New Tag" and you'll be set. Thanks, Traci

Thanks for responding, David. We're glad you're staying with us!

I encourage you to join our Google Group - you can send a join request here: https://groups.google.com/g/wikitreegermanroots. The Google Group is where our project communicates and you can ask questions about German genealogy there. It's a really helpful group. :-)

Best regards, Traci

Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Traci,

Although I have direct ancestors from Germany 4 generations back I have not had time to actively pursue the brick walls there. I will get to them someday. Thanks for asking.

The only participation requirement for the Germany Project is answering at check-in time - which you just did. Would you like to remain in the project?

Then, yes, keep me in the project.

Hi,

The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.

REMINDERS: (1) We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request). (2) add GERMANY to your followed G2G tags so you don't miss any discussions in G2G (see: Help:Tags#How_to_follow_tags Help:Tags).

Hi,

On behalf of the Germany Project, I am currently undergoing our member check-in's and wanted to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the full list. I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google groups for project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup, please submit a join request and we will get that approved as quickly as possible. We also ask that you check your follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

Please respond by private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

So in the John Proctor, Sr. abt. 1594- bef. 1672 page why isn't John's son Joseph listed? I am a direct descendent of Joseph. (see House of Proctor website) You can follow my line back. Joseph was John's half brother (of Salem Village Witch fame )
posted by Vernon Proctor
What makes you believe Joseph was a half brother to John? Joseph is listed directly in John Sr's will (see the bio for John Sr) and there is not 2nd wife. I have added Joseph's father John to his profile.

Hi David,

The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details. The Teams are :-

1. Categories Team
2. Counties Team
3. Managed Profiles Team
4. Membership Team
5. Profile Improvement Team
6. Topics Team
7. Diaspora

? Can you let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project and which team(s) you’d like to join. Please also let me know your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group or confirm you are already a member of the google group.

Many thanks,

Maria

Mayflower Project Member.

I see your profile doesn’t include a mayflower G2G Tag. See “Followed Tags” above. You should have the tag - mayflower -so you can follow pertinent Mayflower activities on G2G. When you add the tag, please include the names of passengers in whom you are interested. Thank you

Anne B. Leader Mayflower Project.

Your correct, David. The work should be "ketch," of course make the change, no problem. Thanks for the review of my work and for your note of thanks.
I carefully merged Mary Warren into Mary Warrin (Peirce). I did "follow directions".

Thanks for the update on Myron Cutting. He was my GREAT Uncle and I lived with him for a couple years as a child. I shall follow that thread and avenue to chase down the Cutting lineage. I am branched off into the Sawyer and Lane tree with my Uncle too. My Grandmother Candace was his sister. You have been a huge help. Be blessed.

Regarding https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Laicon-7, I found two more duplicate profiles with Likens and Lycon. I am leaning towards Likens due to the work by Craig cited in this profile. What do you think?

Hello! It appears as though we have the same relatives of Lois and Jesse Mason on our trees!
Hi, David. I guess I misinterpreted your intent when you said "While your data appears possible..."

Anyway, at Briggs-2291 I had written you a longer reply. In brief:

Yes, Richard and Rebecca did have a daughter Hannah, but she isn't the Hannah Briggs who married Robert Woodward. So there are two different Hannah Briggses needing profiles.

This Briggs-2291 profile could represent either the Hannah Briggs who died young or the Hannah Briggs who married Robert Woodward. Largely because it requires less work (due to not shifting the husband), I propose that the parents should be replaced and a new profile should be created for the daughter of Richard and Rebecca who was born 17 February 1681 and died before 15 January 1696, when her father's estate was distributed.

Florence Barclay was a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists (i.e., highly respected) who spent a long time trying to sort out the various Briggs families of Taunton, and who published her findings in a peer-reviewed journal. She determined that the Hannah Briggs who married Robert Woodward could not have been the daughter of Richard and Rebecca. If you are going to question her conclusions, you had better have an extremely solid basis.
