Hi Phil, Joseph Sexton is my 5GGF. Doing research I have found info from two sources on him. One source does not mention Mary Lee at all.

That source does share about Joseph and Phoebe Campbell, which if one looks at the birth dates of the kids would have been Joseph's 2nd wife. Their first child Jared was born 1756ish.

That sourece says that Phoebe was his 1st wife.

The other source: https://www.genealogy.com/ftm/g/o/r/John-F-Gorman/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0803.html

That source mentions Mary Lee, w/their 1st child, Charles birth at 1745. But no mention of Phoebe

That would make Joseph a father at 15, which may be possible as Mary would have been 17 at the time. Which would have made Mary Lee as his 1st wife.

I sent this email to Sharon and Cathy as well so maybe we can figure out the answer.

So what's the truth? Any Thoughts.

Are any of your Davis's from NC Duplin Co. Sampson Co. ? Mine went out from Duplin area to migrate on into ALA because my Thomas Bullard received Indian Bounty lands from his PATRIOT father Thomas (5thgreat grandfather) as benefits for fighting w/ NC in the AMERICAN REVOLUTION. The Bullards married into the Davises several times over along w/the BEDSOLES and married again into the Bullard family once they setteled into ALA. Sent a request to Tom Quick who seems to be inactive and Sara Senor who is not on the list of Profile manager and you are to change maiden name, LNAB, for Sarah Bush-1062 Sexton second wife of Charles Sexton Sr who is really Sarah Whitman who married 1 Edward Brush, had Elizabeth Brush who was first wife of Charles Sexton Jr, Charles Sr's son by first wife. She was mother of Nehemiah, Taphath and Jared the last three children. She is Bush-1062 and merge to Whitman-2647 with change of maiden name on the Bush profile. Let me know. Thanks Sharon

I am looking for my mothers cousin, Blanche Spaulding; she had three siblings..Lloyd Arthur, Grace, and Forrest Spaulding. They were born in Howard Co. Indiana; Grace died at 18, and Forrest at 20 years. Their parents were Mark and Mary Olive (now I know were my aunt got her name) Spaulding of Indiana.
