Nicolò Giuseppe Marino was born at Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, "hodie," 1 June 1630, son of Pietro Marino and Antonia [Lucchese]; and was baptized in Matrice parish, 1 June 1630; his sponsors were Michele Chiarello and Angela Caradonna.[1]Nicolaus d'Marino died in his home, and was buried on the grounds of Santa Maria de Monte Carmelo church convent, Sciacca, 28 June 1692, aged about 65: "Nicolaus d'Marino ann. 65 circ."[2]
Nicolaum Marino, son of Pietro Marino and qm Antonia [Lucchese], married at Sciacca (Quartiere San Michele), 27 April 1654, by Reverendo Sacerdote Don Pietro Altamine Capp.ni, Chat.na Maniscalco, daughter of qm Magister Matteo Maniscalco and Vita [Sanzo]. The witnesses were Calogero Catania and Cosimo d'Aversa.[3]
(Filippa) Caterina Maniscalco was born at Sciacca, "nocte precedente," 2 February 1631, daughter of M.ro Matteo Maniscalco and Vita [Sanzo]; and was baptized in San Michele parish, 3 February 1631; her sponsors were Michele Chiarello and Angela Caradonna.[4]

The witnesses were Giuseppe Termine and Paolo di Chiazza.
