Biography

Biagio was born about 1790 ^[1] to Baldassare Marino and Anna Catalanotto ^[2]. In 1819 at about age 29, he married Autilia Calandra ^[3]. They had at least 4 children, 3 of whom died young and one died shortly after her marriage. Their first 2 children were born in Santa Margherita, and the latter 2 in Montevago. Biagio died in 1860 in Montevago at about age 70 ^[4]. His death record indicates that he belonged to the middle class.
