Pierre was born on 2 January 1757, and was baptized the same day at Notre-Dame de Québec. He was the son of Pierre Marcou and Genevieve Lepage.[1] He married Marie Anne Duniere on 7 June 1783 in Berthier-en-Bas.[2]
